How to create a coming soon page with HTML Pub?
Before opening a store or launching an offer, a coming soon page announces what's next and collects emails from curious visitors. With HTML Pub's AI assistant, you build it from one description.
The essentials in 30 seconds
- Open the create screen
- Describe the page in a few lines
- Keep one goal: the signup
- Check the form
- Publish on a simple address
- Plan launch day
Avoid: A page with no reason to sign up: « stay in the loop » isn't enough. Promise something concrete.

Button names come from the original guide (Shopify in French, Leadpages in English). In your account, buttons appear in your language.
- 1
Open the create screen
In HTML Pub, click « Create » in the left menu. When the assistant asks what you're making, choose « Landing page ».
- 2
Describe the page in a few lines
Give the project name, what it offers, the launch date if you know it, your colors and what you want: « Coming soon page for my candle store, a headline, one sentence, an email field, launching in November. » Send.
- 3
Keep one goal: the signup
A coming soon page doesn't need a menu or ten sections. Ask the assistant for a headline, one compelling sentence, an email field and a button. Give a reason to sign up: be the first to know, or a launch discount.
- 4
Check the form
Form submissions are saved in HTML Pub. Send yourself a test signup and check that it arrives. If you use an email tool, connect it so every signup lands there automatically.
- 5
Publish on a simple address
Check the page on your phone, then publish. If you have a domain, use it: the coming soon page holds the address until the store or site is ready.
- 6
Plan launch day
On the day, replace the page with the real sales page (or redirect to the store), then email everyone who signed up. They're your first customers: they were waiting to hear from you.

Common mistakes
- A page with no reason to sign up: « stay in the loop » isn't enough. Promise something concrete.
- Announcing a launch date you can't keep: « in November » beats a missed exact day.
- Collecting emails and never writing: by launch, people have forgotten who you are. One email every two weeks is enough.
